The long and winding marketing road
My publisher has completed the press releases. There has been some great feedback so far and I'm optimistic that more will follow.
I've done my own marketing, principally on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. There has been a great response, with many orders placed through this website, also with Amazon.
And now the long haul. I will put on my hat and coat and tour local bookshops, with a view to getting The Island of Animaux on the shelves. I hope this will be straightforward, as copies are already available on Waterstones and WH Smith's websites. I had hoped to place copies in local libraries but most are still operating in a very restricted way. So this will need to wait.
Writing the book and getting it published has been the easy part! Marketing is the marathon! :-)
